Why Can't I Log in?
Q: I am not able to log into may account. I keep getting an error. I tried resetting my password but I haven't received an email. This is the message I receive:
A: If your login looks like the above image, you are on the wrong site. You are trying to login into the subscription site, try logging into: https://standards.nimonik.com/
Q: I don't remember my password. How do I reset it?
A. If you don't remember your password, resetting things is easy. From the login screen you should see a blue "Reset" link under the password field like so:
After clicking the link, you will be given the option to send the reset link to your email. Make sure your email matches what you used to create your account.
I Placed an Order, Now What?
Q. How long does it take to receive my document.
A. You should see the document your account immediately after your order is completed. Click here if you need help accessing your document.
Q. I don't see the document I ordered in my library. My library is empty.
A1. Make sure you are logged into the account that ordered the document. You won't be able to see documents ordered by other users, even if it is within the same document or department. We sell single user license, and these licenses are tied to one email. You can always reach out and ask us about our multi-user options.
A2. If you are logged in the correct account and don't see your documents, submit a ticket. One of our agents will get to you as soon as possible.
Q. Why can't I download my document?
A. In order to maintain compliance with our publisher partners and protect their copyright, your documents will be online PDFs. Since you are purchasing a single user license, the document will only be available through your account as a searchable online document. You are allowed to print your documents as an added convenience. Please refer to our published article in our help center if you need help printing your document.
Placing the Order
Q. Can I pay using a purchase order? I only see an option to pay by credit card?
A. We accept payment with a PO from US companies only. We require prepayment from all international orders. Reach out directly to standards@nimonik.com or more details.
Q. You don't have the latest revision of the document I want to buy on your website. Do you carry the latest revisions?
A. We currently transitioning into our new website, and that comes with a few complications. Some standards may not update properly, and others might be hidden as they are pending upload. If there is a standard you need but don't see on the website, please submit a ticket for the document or revision you wish to purchase and we will let you know if it is available.
Q. I can't find the document I am looking for. Do you carry it?
A. It depends. We are only uploading and tracking data for publishers that we have agreements with. If a document you are looking for is not on our site, it probably means we do not sell it. Just because we don't carry a certain SDO today doesn't mean we will never carry them. The list of publishers we work with continues to grow everyday, so make sure you come back and check on us regularly. There are a few odd glitches that may prevent a document from showing up, so it is never a bad idea to shoot us an email. Please send all retail related inquiries to standards@nimonik.com.
The Watchlist
All documents you purchase through our site are tracked for the life of the document. That means you will receive a notification of any update when the document is revised.
Q: Can I track documents that I don't buy through the Standards.Nimonik site?
A. Yes, you can track any document we carry by adding the document to your watchlist.
Q. How do I add a document to my watchlist?
A. First search up the document you would like to track. When you see the document you would like to track, there should be a "Add to Watchlist" button like this:
Clicking the document will add it to your watchlist. You should now be notified anytime this document is revised.
I used to be a Document Center Customer
We are officially started migrating from the old Document Center site to Standards.Nimonik. We understand this may cause a few issues for some customers and appreciate your patience and understand as we work towards making everything perfect. Here are a few common issues that may arise
Q: Why isn't my Document Center Login working on Nimonik?
A. While we were able to move over some order histories, we aren't able to transfer sensitive information like credit cards and passwords. Even if you've been a customer of Document Center since the beginning, you will need to create a new login. If your email was in the Document Center database, most of your history should have been transferred over.
Q: I see my history, but there are items missing?
A. Only data for documents we currently carry on the Standards.Nimonik will show up in your history. We are currently only putting documents on our site from publishers we have contracts with and documents for. This means there will be gaps in your histories. The number of SDO's we work with continues to grow by day, so just because we can't track the item you want today doesn't mean we can't track it tomorrow.
Q: Will you continue to track items and send out notifications like ?
A. Only data for documents we currently carry on the Standards.Nimonik will show up in your history. We are currently only putting documents on our site from publishers we have contracts with and documents for. This means there will be gaps in your histories.
