What is a Digital PDF

Before purchasing a document from us, be aware that we do not allow downloads of our digital pdfs. This is done in compliance with our agreement with our publishers and to avoid the use of intrusive third party DRM. This means that digitali versions of our single user licenses are view only through our website. Note that our muti-user subscription service supports downloadable pdfs. Single User Lincenses

Digital PDFs are single user licesnses that are assigned to one account. All documents purchased through this format will be securely stored in one convenient place on our webstore for easy acccess when you need them. Single user licenses cannot be shared, tranfered, or reproduced as per our agreement. If you are purchasing documents for multiple users, you will need to purchase multiple licenses or buy into our multi-user subscription service. 

Benefits of buying digital pdfs

While this format does not seem ideal, it has some notable benifits you should consider. For starters, all of your documents will be securely stored in one location. You don't need to worry about losing your files to hardware issue or human error because we take control of your data. We also also help you stay compliant. 

We track all documents purchased through us. That means when a document in your library is updated, you will be the first to know. This is a free service that we offer to all our customers, and a handy tool for the busy engeneer that needs to stay on top of their projects. Note that you will need to purchase the update, but where you buy it is up to you. There is no obligation to stay with us or subscription to cancel (unless you want there to be). 

Printable

You will be able to print a copy of documents from publishers that support the feature. As of writing this, only ASTM has a no print restriction. Please review the article about printing if you are having trouble with your prints. Note that print is a curtesy we offer. We are not resposible for problems caused by hardware or network issues. If you would like a physical copy, they are available through our webstore. We offer discounts if you choose to bundle both formats.
